Chosen to bear fruit

“You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you would GO and bear fruit” ~ Jesus  John 15:16 is like a mission statement for disciples. Our Lord Jesus has not only chose us but has given us an assignment. A large percentage of God’s people have not understand this very well. The demonic realm have taken us for a ride through their lies and deception.  The disciples look more like toddlers needing constant assistance from others. Sadly the   ‘one-fold’ ministries today promotes this kind of 'Come-to-Church' Christianity and  failed to equip God's people to  GO and fulfil Gods mandate.   In Luke 4:18-19 our Lord declared His assignment before He began His work on the earth. As a warrior disciple we need to get a good grip of this truth. He has chosen us, anointed us, given us a task and commands us to execute it Acts 1:1, 2.  We have been appointed by God Himself for a big task.  Many of us are overwhelmed not knowing wher...

Is God in control of everything?

Eph. 6:14–17 13 Therefore, take up the full armour of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm. I want us to notice a few key words in this verse - 1. Take up 2. Resist 3. Evil day 4. Stand firm How do we normally respond when we encounter our 'evil day'? I have noticed the most common reactions are one of self-pity, helplessness and of desperation. Sometimes we begin to blame ourselves, others or even God. Others are quite 'spiritual' they accept their 'evil day' as the perfect will of the Lord, and ask for grace to suffer even if its disease, disaster or death, like Job in the Bible. The most famous and over preached statement among Gods people, "God is in control". The other common route the average Christian takes is to try to find someone else to do their praying, their 'spiritual guru' ,the 'man of God' or their 'platform minister'. Listen to the instruction of t...

Time to Prophesy

"But as for Me, I have installed My king Upon Zion, My holy mountain." (Psalms 2:6, NASB) Hello Saints, Prophecy is Agreeing and declaring heavens will on the earth through our mouth. It is important that we engage with heaven in this manner. Read and pray the word loudly. Give zero tolerance for words that does not line-up with Gods heart. Give ear to My Words says the Lord. blessings, Kevin Gomez housechurch.in

Template to deal with Turmoil

How did Jesus act when he confronted physical and spiritual storms in His life on the earth? Perhaps we can learn and follow his foot steps to respond in like manner, and experience the power of the kingdom in our ‘everyday life’s storms‘ too. Mark 4:35-41 1. Jesus seen the big picture of the Fathers destiny for His life . So he was not deterred  or distracted when he was faced with temporary opposing forces, or obstacles that confronted Him. This gave Jesus all the more confidence for Him to rest, stay calm and have a cool head. We must see the big picture of our Fathers destiny for us in order not to be overwhelmed by the issues that surround us constantly. 2. Storms forces us to behave like sons not cry like babies. Storms come to sons, so that we can calm them and send them away like the Son of God. I believe the storm came looking for Jesus and only He knew how to handle it. Jesus firmly spoke to the storm to be quiet. We have great opportunities next time when some...

Swine-Sense for Non-Sense

16  And he would have gladly filled his stomach with the pods that the swine were eating, and no one was giving  anything  to him.   17 But when he came to his senses, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired men have more than enough bread, but I am dying here with hunger! Luke 15 What was the turning point of the lost son? "He came to his senses" . Repentance is coming to our senses and coming back into alignment with our Father's heart and ways. It was so good to see the son come back to his senses first before he took the next step to go back home even though imperfect in his understanding and ways. Returning without Repentance will only give us opportunities to be a prodigal again. However, Returning with a deep work of grace in the heart will yield rich Rewards.
