Template to deal with Turmoil

How did Jesus act when he confronted physical and spiritual storms in His life on the earth? Perhaps we can learn and follow his foot steps to respond in like manner, and experience the power of the kingdom in our ‘everyday life’s storms‘ too.

Mark 4:35-41
1. Jesus seen the big picture of the Fathers destiny for His life. So he was not deterred  or distracted when he was faced with temporary opposing forces, or obstacles that confronted Him. This gave Jesus all the more confidence for Him to rest, stay calm and have a cool head. We must see the big picture of our Fathers destiny for us in order not to be overwhelmed by the issues that surround us constantly.

2. Storms forces us to behave like sons not cry like babies. Storms come to sons, so that we can calm them and send them away like the Son of God. I believe the storm came looking for Jesus and only He knew how to handle it. Jesus firmly spoke to the storm to be quiet. We have great opportunities next time when some storms come looking for us, to speak to them firmly. We need to emerge from being a child to be a Son of God.

3. Jesus saw opportunities to demonstrate the Kingdom power in every situation. We must not run away when we are faced with challenges in our lives. Use those opportunities to exercise your sonship in Christ. Sons demonstrate the Kingdom of God in power and bring lives, regions and nations under Our Fathers dominion into alignment with our Fathers purposes.

Let us learn to practice these basic principles of sonship everyday and start behaving like Kings, Priests and Sons of the most High God who are here on a Kingdom assignment.

Have a good day,

The Mark of a True Believer

The first mark of a believer according to Mark 16:17 is to cast out demons. Yes people of God this is the true sign that you are a pukka Christian . If you are not casting out demons perhaps you are in tango with them and they will surely play with your life and finally destroy you and your destiny. " These signs will accompany those who have believed: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues;.." - Mark 16:17 Do you know how to get them off your 'property'?  Learn how to kick them out of your life and then you can help others too.
