How did Jesus act when he confronted physical and spiritual storms in His life on the earth? Perhaps we can learn and follow his foot steps to respond in like manner, and experience the power of the kingdom in our ‘everyday life’s storms‘ too. Mark 4:35-41 1. Jesus seen the big picture of the Fathers destiny for His life . So he was not deterred  or distracted when he was faced with temporary opposing forces, or obstacles that confronted Him. This gave Jesus all the more confidence for Him to rest, stay calm and have a cool head. We must see the big picture of our Fathers destiny for us in order not to be overwhelmed by the issues that surround us constantly. 2. Storms forces us to behave like sons not cry like babies. Storms come to sons, so that we can calm them and send them away like the Son of God. I believe the storm came looking for Jesus and only He knew how to handle it. Luke 15 What was the turning point of the lost son? "He came to his senses" . Repentance is coming to our senses and coming back into alignment with our Father's heart and ways. It was so good to see the son come back to his senses first before he took the next step to go back home even though imperfect in his understanding and ways. Returning without Repentance will only give us opportunities to be a prodigal again. However, Returning with a deep work of grace in the heart will yield rich Rewards.
