A Wuhan Church Finds God’s Grace Amid Coronavirus Scare

03/01/2020 Washington D.C. (International Christian Concern) – The Root and Foot Christian Church (RFCC) is situated at the very center of the Coronavirus epidemic – Wuhan, China. When the outbreak happened, the church’s senior pastor decided to stay to care for his sheep, rescue the lives of unbelievers, and calm the fearful souls of Christians.

In an online webinar, titled “Chinese Churches Standing Firm Amid the Outbreak,” hosted by the Chinese Congress on World Evangelization on February 27, pastor Huang Lei shared how his church has witnessed God’s grace in spite of the challenging situation faced by Wuhan residents.
“The Wuhan Pneumonia (officially known as COVID-19) is a rarely seen disaster in human history, yet everything presents an opportunity to glorify God,” he said.

RFCC has a few members who might have contracted the virus, but they have all recovered. One of the two members who tested positive for COVID-19 has stayed home to receive treatment, while the other one has received care in the hospital.Click here for more

Acts 2020 - The 3rd Reformation

The Holy Spirit is quickening the body of Christ today in a marvelous way to the 3rd reformation(of course I coined this term). A call has gone out, calling His bride back to the spirit and the word of gathering and living the body life. I see a generation of disciples rising up to know and understand this move. The Church today has the potential to write her own book of the acts of the Holy Spirit. House to house is where this move will begin Acts 20:20. In the years to come there will be a greater longing for His bride to meet HIM in accordance to the New Testament pattern, increasingly at homes and in unconventional ways including virtual methods as well, using technology also to their advantage. The Mark of a True Believer

The first mark of a believer according to Mark 16:17 is to cast out demons. Yes people of God this is the true sign that you are a pukka Christian . Look Up to Live Down

If we were to take a snapshot of the posture of the Church today, possibly it can resemble the picture above. The Church at large are taught to ‘Look Up’ as a way of life, the posture of eagerly waiting for our Lord to return and take them out of this miserable world. Sadly the Christendom has been so indoctrinated with this ‘escape gospel’ that it has failed to prepare the body of Christ to be mature sons and daughters, to be the salt and light in this world. We have missed to know our Father's heart, as clearly stated in the Lord's prayer. His Kingdom has to come on the earth as it is in heaven. His Ecclesia needs to know their position, responsibility and authority to administer His government in all areas of society and creation.
